All the evergreen clematis in the front border just died and went brown seemingly overnight. That's a big setback for the front. 4 freaking big beautiful and expensive plants bit the dust. The other evergreens look fine, so I'm puzzled. I cleaned them up and cussed the whole #$)*&$ time.
The Camelia japonicas are starting to bloom, though...which is very very cool. Big bright showy girls in February...gotta love that. The buds on the Sargeants started opening last weekend. Awesome!
Time to get serious with those catalogs that are piling up on the dining table.
